Food Activism: Kathryn Clark & Hard Data

I question the effectiveness of merging art, craft and activism. Can they pose questions and start conversations in a meaningful manner or are they better approached in isolation. This article on Hand full of Salt poses some questions and possible solutions.


She’s also a curious, smart, passionate activist.

Some activists accost you in the street, post incessantly on Facebook, or run for office.  And many of the artist-activists out there have focused on shock and appall tactics to propel us out of our collective apathy.

It’s time for a smarter activism. And that’s where Kathryn comes in.
