Studio: Kiln Labeling

I have been chatting to a few people about the Muskeg kiln, things are progressing nicely I must say- weather permitting it will be done tomorrow. The last kiln design posted has changed and morphed and been adjusted because actually putting things together always shows that our ideals aren’t going to cut it in the real world. Literally, I don’t have wire cutters and so things have had to change!

Anyways, thanks to the scanner I have been able to take the plans and label them accordingly not too painfully as in tedious photoshop. I hope this clears some things up. I would really love to post about kiln theory and walk you through my building process more step by step (ooo baby, darn new kids on the block) and I hope to, time permitting! I leave tower on Sept.1 and so am racing against the clock. Time is my arch enemy and most intimate lover- I can’t live with it can’t live without it.

If you have any kiln questions fire them my way please!
