Alone is beautiful: Bone of Contention

I every so often come across someone who thinks that to be a forest tower observer you have to be an odd introverted human and shun society. Funnily enough, the most entertaining people loving folk I know are tower observers. I remember trying to explain to some studio mates that I am really never alone, even though I’m out in forest that my friends and family are still connected to me (if only via email and snail mail). Oddly enough “civilized” society can be the loneliest place of all. Ever feel alone in a crowd? Being properly alone gives you freedom, a sense of well being and independence. More people should give being alone a try and not be averse to the notion. This poem by Tanya Davis I think puts it all in perspective. Plus the graphics are super charming.
